Jacqui has many years’ experience advising trustees and employers on all aspects of UK pensions law, regulation and industry best practice. She is a defined contribution specialist and works with a range of occupational and personal pension providers, master trusts and Independent Governance Committees (IGCs), advising on legal and non-legal defined contribution matters as well as advising international/FTSE 100 and 250 companies who participate in UK and offshore trust and contract-based arrangements.

Jacqui chairs two industry groups: one for IGCs and their providers who are collaborating on various research programmes around value for money and benchmarking and a second for master trusts as they explore the impact of authorisation and supervision. This makes her uniquely placed to provide independent ideas and thoughts on issues which span trust and contract pension provision. Jacqui has coordinated the collaboration of the workplace GPP industry to assess value for money through cross industry data comparison exercises over the past few years, an initiative which was recognised by the FCA in its 2019 consultation paper on the extension of IGC remits, and subsequent consultations, including the recent joint FCA/TPR discussion paper and subsequent FCA policy statement relating to costs and charges. The group projects include active and legacy products as well as analysis of costs and charges.
